Monica & John

I just received another thank you note from a client! Monica and John's wedding was in September at Betasso Reserve up in Bouder. The area was so peaceful and gorgeous - filled with beautiful scenery! Their wedding was very small yet the emotional closeness of everyone was very powerful. I love how everyone received a piece of wood that, when put together, formed a circle! It was so touching to hear everyone talk about how much Monica and John meant to them, hear about their journeys and to see the love and admiration everyone felt - it was such a great day!

Happy B-Day Dad!!

I have not posted in a while - October seems to be a blur as I've felt that I've literally photographed my way thru the whole month! It's my Dad's birthday - he's 70 and looking ever so dashing these days! If it wasn't for my Dad, I would not be living my dream - he handed me an opportunity that I couldn't pass up and believed in me all the way. Thanks Dad - I love you!

This is the beginning of my blog. What better way to start than with something completely different!!!!

I'm in Pittsburgh for the weekend - shot a wedding on Saturday and today we went out exploring. Not your regular, run-of-the-mill exploring, but we found an abandoned hospital that was just beckoning to us from the street. You could see drapes still hanging in the windows. Anyway, we showed up and just walked right in. The things we saw were just mind blowing. We spent over 2 hours shooting in this 3 story building.
