A Wedding on 9.01.07

Lisa and Jimmy had a traditional Vietnamese Catholic ceremony. That was about as far as traditional went. We went downtown to do the bridal party portraits and ended up in the skate park! During the reception guests were entertained by karate fighters flying thru the air, a magician, various karaoke singers and a belly dancer! To top it off, Jimmy serenaded his bride with a beautiful long song. What a fabulous day - thanks for having us there!

My Heart

I'm so far behind on my blogging, it's just not funny anymore. I have so many things to post - I just need to take a deep breath! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Forgive me but I had to post this right away. My Mom just turned 70 and I can't remember the last time we did a photo shoot. We had to do it - I wasn't taking NO for an answer. We drove around and found a patch of trees that were in brilliant yellows. We were only there for a few minutes however, this picture will be with me in my mind and heart for the rest of my life.

This photo says so much to me - it truly is my Mom. She is strong, independent, funny and I have so much respect for her. It says "I'm a Survivor" and she is. Celebrating 7 years of beating breast cancer - she never thought she'd "get to" 70.
