Random

A couple of my favorites from the Mexico wedding.......more later (and some hilarious personal shots of 3 burros that were quite attracted to our rental car!)..........

Searching for Ghost Towns in Texas

My good friend and fellow photographer Peggy came down to Austin a few months ago for a visit and we spent a couple of days exploring Texas - looking for ghost towns, old cemeteries, abandoned buildings - anything spooky. We also spent an afternoon in San Antonio photographing the missions - we photographed a lot of cool stuff!

I especially like the old gas pump - I think it says 28 cents a gallon - that sure would be nice today!

Oh, here is Peggy's website - she's an awesome portrait artist (and wedding photographer): www.peggydyer.com. She also thought the street sign was very amusing.........I agree!

Kids Are So Amazing

Kids really are amazing! They are constantly growing and changing right before our eyes! This is lovely Ellie and her family - I photographed Holly & Curt's wedding quite a while ago and now I am photographing their kids! Grant is such a sweetie, calling me "Miss Paige" and I've watched Ellie grow from a few days old until now.....I have the best job in the world!

A Wedding on 9.15.07

Lauren and Christopher were married at the Ritz Bachelor Gulch in Beaver Creek - what a day it was! The weather was fabulous and everyone was so fun and cheerful! The decor and flowers (along with the location!) was out of this world! I just loved so many moments from this day - especially during the ceremony when Christopher was looking at Lauren - I'm such a fan of the "deep stare" - gets me every time!

I almost forgot to mention the toasting glasses were hand crafted and blown by Lauren's sister - aren't they beautiful?

The band at the reception had the dance floor filled - all I can say is these guests could really shake their booties!

Thanks for having us there!!

A Wedding on 9.02.07

I'm catching up on my blogging! I want to be caught up by the end of the month so here comes the extravaganza!

Lara and Greg's wedding took place at Bear Dance Golf Course - it was a beautiful day with beautiful light - stormy clouds were rolling in around sunset and then as soon as the sun went down, it poured! Great timing on nature's part!

Don't you just love how they had their dog in the ceremony? He was so cute - when Lara walked down the aisle, as soon as he saw her, he made sure she knew he was there! Everyone laughed - what a glorious day!
