Christmas in South Padre Island, Texas

It's been a while since I posted BUT, we were on vacation!!
We decided to do something different this year and go tropical for Christmas!! My husband had this CRAZY idea of actually driving over 1200 miles to the beach - so, we did it!!
Here are some photos from the trip.....South Padre Island was great - it's a huge sandbar in southern Texas. The water was very cold, but we enjoyed the beach and collecting shells, went fishing and caught our dinner, saw dolphins and gorgeous sunsets and even drove to Mexico for the day. Needless to say, it was an interesting 10 days!

Kate's Bridal Session

We did Kate's bridal session a couple of weeks ago at the Brown Palace. Sidney, the catering sales manager, was kind enough to give us a suite for 2 hours for the shoot - we had a blast!! Floral bouquet provided to us by the awesome ladies at Delilah's (www.delilahsofdenver.com).

Wohooo, time to celebrate! I just received my copy of the Knot's Colorado Real Weddings for Spring/Summer 2007 and I was fortunate enough to have one of my weddings from 2005 featured in a 6 page spread! I'm so excited!!!

Meghan sent an e-mail thanking me for submitting their wedding (how could I not, it was THE MOST amazing day!!!)

'Tis the Season - for Greeting Cards!

Happy Holidays everyone!!!! I just wanted to share some greeting cards I created for one of my clients - the wedding celebration was in fabulous NYC!! The cards were done by Jonesbook - www.jonesbook.com - they have great service and some really great products. Anyway, I was so excited to see these:

Kendell, Craig and Brody

I photographed Kendell and Craig back in 2002 when they married at the Denver Botanical Gardens. I was excited to hear from them recently - saying they needed a family portrait - and to introduce me to their adorable little boy Brody. Brody at first wasn't sure what to make of me, but we made it a fun day at Wash Park - with a leaf "fight" and he was thrilled when all the ducks and geese came to personally welcome him to their lake!

I got an amazing e-mail from my client Michelle whose wedding was on October 21st! It read:
